Bromley 4 Hawks 0

Whitehawk suffered their second defeat in as many games at the hands of Bromley.

Set pieces were the key as three of the four goals came from corners.

The first goal came on the quarter hour mark when a far post corner was headed back across goal and the hosts skipper headed in.

Just four minutes later Bromley had the ball in the net again from a corner, this time a quickly taken one seemed to catch the Hawks cold and and another free header made it two.

A third goal in the 24th minute and a dream 9 minute spell by Bromley had the home fans going crazy, as the home keeper cleared upfield a neat 1-2 ended with a fantastic volley giving Chris Winterton no chance in the Hawks goal.

Hawks first chance came in the 27th minute when Jake Robinson crossed and James Fraser headed over from 8 yards.

Bromley seemed to sit back and just before half time Whitehawk managed their first effort on target when Tom Cadmore saw his header saved at the near post.

Hawks started the second half brighter and started to play some football, but on 65 minutes Winterton pulled off a great save to deny Bromley a 4th until again from the resulting corner and another free header saw the hosts take a 4 goal lead.

The best move of the match for Whitehawk saw Michael Boateng exchange passes with Edinho and his shot hit the post.

The home keeper was called into action again as David Silva on as a substitute brought a fine save out of him from a free kick 25 yards out.
